The XJ220 offered here is finished in silver with a black leather interior is a 100 percent original example with only 1,981 verified kilometers (1,231 miles) registered on the odometer. The Jaguar is one of the very few XK220s that has been granted proper EPA and DOT certification for the State of California, and carries the appropriate State of California Vehicle Information Label on the windscreen. Having been properly stored and rarely driven,
the Jaguar is immaculate and comes complete with all its original books and records.

This car must be seen, heard and driven to fully appreciate what a masterpiece in engineering design it is. It truly brought Jaguar to the forefront in both motor racing and the automobile media, and was to again establish Jaguar as being at the pinnacle of the automotive world, where it could rival such performance manufacturers as Ferrari and Lamborghini. The XJ220 enlightened the enthusiasts and again propelled the Jaguar Motor Car Company into the hearts and dreams of the motoring public.

Presented here is one of the finest XJ220s in existence. Its superb condition is undoubtedly the result of its limited use and meticulous maintenance, and it currently stands as one of the few Jaguar supercars fit for the most discriminating collector.

According to the International Jaguar Supercar Register, this Spa Silver example was constructed on August 24, 1993, and was delivered on October 22. More than 15 years later, the car remains exceptionally original and had covered a mere 2,376 miles at the time of cataloging. Most significantly, this Jaguar is one of only a handful of the original 281 examples built that have been properly federalized and granted the EPA and DOT certification for the State of California. When new, very few Americans could actually experience.

This XJ220 is finished in Spa Silver with a black leather interior and has only approximately 3,100 original miles. Due to the low production of the XJ220, Jaguar never went through the lengthy process of having the model approved for sale in the United States. Some have made their way to the States over the years, but this XJ220 is one of only a few cars that was imported early in its life and is fully EPA and DOT certified for sale in the state of California.

Its current owner purchased the XJ220 from the estate of David E. Walters in 2010 with only 2,400 miles. It has been part of his extensive car collection ever since. Only driven a careful 800 miles during his ownership, it remains in exceptional condition throughout, consistent with its low original mileage. Towbin Motorcars recently performed an annual checkup and changed the fluids in June 2019. Included with the sale are service records, a set of owner’s manuals, and the original tires.
